Born in 1975 in Barcelona, Gustavo Garcia has been living in The Netherlands for about 12 years now. Drawing has always been his passion and he has been doing it since he knew how to hold a pencil. In 2007 he has started his company Gustavogarcia.org and he has worked on many different assignments since.

His style can be described as a simple and direct way of depicting reality. Humor is an important component in most of his work. He enjoys drawing situations that speak for themselves and ‘hit the nail on the head’.

Directly from his professional start he has been adopting the digital possibilities of illustration. He works with a tablet which enables a fast and efficient way of working. One of the strong points of Gustavo is his ability to be able to listen to what a client is looking for to express with an illustration or design and to be able to express that in a drawing.

Furthermore, Gustavo makes designs for T-shirts, CD covers, logos, flyers, etc. He is currently working on an independent comic book about the history of Utrecht.
